Three editing tips I'd give you over a coffee.
1
Don't film and edit on the same day.
Film day is film day. Come back to the footage tomorrow with fresh eyes and you'll cut faster, keep the good bits, and stop deleting takes that were actually fine.

Turn the music down.
Your voice is the reel. If the track is fighting it, people can't hear you and they scroll. Music sits underneath you, quiet enough that you'd forget it's there.

Done beats perfect. Post it.
Trim the start, trim the end, cut the dead air, captions on. That's an edit. Everything past that is you procrastinating with a nicer name.
